Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Based on Ubuntu's CVE database, as far as I can tell there is no evidence that any of the security fixes you mention affect Xenial or Yakkety. But I cannot tell for sure, so since you're flagging this as "[Security Fixes]" to be safe I'll treat this as a security bug and defer to the security team. If you just want the package updated, I suggest you separate security issues (for which presumably you want urgent attention, as otherwise you wouldn't flag it as such) from straightforward and routine updates in the development release. ** Information type changed from Public to Public Security -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1606828 Title: [Security Fixes] BIND Stable Version 9.10.4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bind9/+bug/1606828/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
