I am trying to apply this fix for someone and, after some fighting getting everything setup, I was able to get everything installed to /usr/local and manually run the custom version. However, it appears that I still cannot use the Displays panel of unity-control-center to actually configure the orientation of their monitors. Is there something else that needs to be done for this application to work correctly?
