I asked on askubuntu first, and a user said he had the same issue with email programmes, so maybe a "default programmes" setting for more than just the web browser, like on the desktop, would be good. (https://askubuntu.com/questions/803034/how-to-set-default-browser-on- ubuntu-touch)
