** Description changed: OS: Ubuntu 16.04.1 amd64 Unity Kernel: 4.4.0-31-generic USB Modem: HiLink USB modem (Huawei E3372). lsusb: Bus 003 Device 006: ID 12d1:14dc Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. - Module: - cdc_ether - After reboot OS - modem connected on HiLink mode and indicator on device - show blue light (modem connected) and on panel NM show connected. BUT - really network not available! + show blue light (modem connected). BUT really network not available! This variants not solved problem (not network): - sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager.service - - sudo modprobe cdc_ether - reconnect modem to USB port (device connect normaly but network not available) Solved problem only turn off PC and start again - modem connected and network available. On Ubuntu 14.04 modem working fine and after reboot OS too - this Ubuntu 16.04 problem! I don't know this problem NetworkManager or maybe module device or etc...
