More.. Subsequent to installing 16.04.1, I tried a clean install of 16.10 Yaketty Yak. Alpha 1
Only 5 days of testing, but many suspend-resume cycles over the course of a normal work day. I can report that the problem appeared to not appear with this config! I had to then subsequently go back to 16.04.1, as the Alpha 1 build was too unstable for my usage.
