I am trying to snap hexchat with the attach snapcraft.yaml (it's not
perfect). The application builds, install and runs, but generates the
following error when it is executed:
(hexchat:4186): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: Cannot open pixbuf loader module
file '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders.cache': No
such file or directory
This likely means that your installation is broken.
Try running the command
gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders >
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders.cache
to make things work again for the time being.
I'm not expecting to see this warning message. The loaders.cache file is
normally generated by a libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 postinst script. I don't know
why it's not being generated in this case, but it is missing from the
build/stage/prime files:
