Public bug reported:
I tried to update from a fully updated 14.04 LTS system into a 16.04.
Along the way some alerts regarding tex-common appeared, but I don't
know where to look for them, that is, whether the procedure was logged
somehow. LaTeXing documents seems to work; I'm submitting this because
the system suggested so after rebooting.
