Public bug reported: I suspend my laptop by either clicking on the "suspend" menu option or just closing the lid. The suspend behavior works as expected, but occasionally when resuming from suspended state, text is missing from the UI (screenshot attached).
The UI is Gnome. I forget if it is "gnome flashback" or what legacy gnome is now. It's whatever you get from installing the "gnome-panel" package. When I click on or mouse over some things, those things will sometimes rerender causing the missing text to appear. So far the only fix I have found for this is to restart the machine. Ubuntu installation is from scratch (not upgrade). I did not have this problem prior to running 16.04.
