Binary package hint: compiz
I'm using amd64, upgraded to gutsy beta yesterday. I am using the
restricted nvidia driver and a geforce 7600gs.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create more than one workspace (I have 4)
- Enable 'Normal' desktop effects
- Open a few application windows in the first workspace
- Maximize a window (i.e. firefox)
- Move the application window (firefox) to another workspace (i.e. 3)
- Double click on the title bar
Expected results:
- Window becomes un-maximized
Actual results:
- Window switches between min/max mode
- Also moves to previous workspace (i.e. back to workspace 1)
Now my confusing thoughts:
The windows seem to have their workspace associated with their regular size -
i.e. If you move workspaces while it's not maximized, it seems ok. But moving
them while maximized causes the problem. Moving while minimized seems to cause
a whole other raft of issues.
