As I just got the computer, I did not try any other kernel/distro so far. I'm trying out the v4.8 kernel now, and this issue seems to be fixed -- thanks for the hint! I will test it over the day some more, and mark it 'kernel-fixed-upstream' if all is fine.
There is some other weird behavior with this kernel though: the computer makes audible noises when under load, something like a very high pitched whisper (so no fan) that I have never had with the default 16.04 kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1618075 Title: freeze on wake from suspend on 16.04, Dell Latitude e7470 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1618075/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
