** Description changed:

  I am able to boot into 2.6.20-16-generic with out Nvidia drivers

  Ubuntu 7.10 x86-64 | AMD X2 3800+ | Abit UL8 | EvGA 7800 GS CO | 2048mb 
pc3200 ram | Seagate ide 120gb |
