Public bug reported: I'm using a netboot Ubuntu installer from:
dists/trusty-updates/main/installer-amd64/20101020ubuntu318.40/images /xenial-netboot/ and this installs a system with the Xenial LTS kernel packages. However, it doesn't install the Xenial X stack even though https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack says "The 14.04.2 and newer point releases will ship with an updated kernel and X stack by default." The xenial-netboot trusty installer should install the new X stack. ** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1619705 Title: Installing 14.04 from lts-xenial netboot image doesn't install xenial X stack To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-installer/+bug/1619705/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
