Public bug reported:
lost power during upgrade to 16.. Probably nothing wrong with the
software here except losing wireless support.. Which is why I went back
to 14.04 the first time I upgraded months ago.. Hoped it was fixed.. I
will be repairing myself as soon as I get time. Dealing with TS
Hermine.. running repair in software center now.
I was running the upgrade expected it to finish but it was un-attended
so paused .. several times.. So when the power went out, lost internet
and battery died. Hoped it would install with out hesitation.. I would
love if the questions were asked during the beginning of the install
instead of pausing the whole thing. Thanks for y'alls hard work.
