I don't see anything obvious in those logs and I can't reproduce... You could try updating your ALSA drivers, as descirbed here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/UpgradingALSA/DKMS
This could very well make a difference since xenial is 4 major kernel versions behind, and the problem may very well fixed in newer ALSA driver code.
