I've been having the Thunar shutting down problem ever since I made a clean install of UbuntuStudio 16.04.1 about 3 weeks' ago. Also from time to time, Thunar would fail to display some files or to remove some files which were dragged and dropped into a directory.
I have installed the patched DEB packages from the PPA created by Yuri Ribeiro Sucupira, see #62 above. Since installing, I've renamed over 30 files without any problem so far. I've also dragged and dropped files from one directory to another and back again without display problems. So, the outlook does appear hopeful for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS releases with xfce. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1512120 Title: thunar crashes on file renaming To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunar/+bug/1512120/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
