You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I gave sudo "snap install game-2048" , then i aborted it with "sudo snap abort
179"
where 179 is change id for the process.
So, abort usually should stop download process at the moment when it was
passed to snap, but it didn't did that until the full package was
downloaded.
snap install downloads the package in /tmp and i seen three 63mb
game-2048 snaps there which were downloaded fully by snap.
It is a serious bug in snap and should be rectified very soon !!
I tested those 63mb snap packages and they installed correctly and
game-2048 ran very well that mean they are were downloaded fully by snap
,so it is confirmed that snap ignored abort command or did what should
not be expected by a user.
