Public bug reported:

>From what I've tested: full-screen applications such as games running at
non-native resolution (for example, a 1280x720 fullscreen game running
on a 1920x1080 desktop) have weird scaling / stretching issues.
Alt+Tabbing and re-selecting the application can sometimes fix it, but
there are circumstances in which this won't work, such as a notification
appearing.

It's as though Unity tries to redraw the application back to the desktop
resolution which is larger than the game resolution, so you only see a
stretched top left corner of the game.

Here is a video I recorded showing the issue in OpenRCT2:
https://vid.me/Ocyj

Notice how when I change the volume (causing a notification) the game is
stretched to 1920x1080, and goes back to normal once the notification
fades. Note on my screen I only see the game part, and the rest is only
visible from the screen recording.

Here is another screenshot showing the same happening under wine:

I'm reporting this under Unity as the above works perfect under GNOME.
