not a big deal to handle, and yeah petsc has superlu support in xenial,
and with the new superlu library will continue having it, so I won't
call it "a new feature".

Add p?GetDiagU() routines to extract the diagonal entries of the U
factor. This can be useful for computing the determinant of matrix A.
also, the diff [1] shows lots of files that probably shouldn't have been here
(tmp files I guess), and just some bugfixes in the code
