Public bug reported:

I was trying to prepare a new Ubuntu system for server purpose.
Previously I had Windows 7 installed on my system. My system has 4
partitions of disk drive space. So I decided to install Ubuntu in an
empty partition (not the partition with Windows installed). But Upon
repeated attempts to install Ubuntu, I have failed. The grub has not
been installed. It always gives the error "Grub Installation Failed".
Please help.
