it's not relevant if a MIR requirement is in the original Debian import or in the Ubuntu delta. With the next compiler change, this package won't get any testing, will not be built with a default compiler and finally won't be buildable anymore.
Now I had a look at the Debian package myself, seeing that exactly this issue is fixed in the new upload. So why do you start arguing about the origin of an issue, and not working towards a solution? So please merge the package again. If you commit to merge it for y, I don't care if it's done before or after approval. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1618178 Title: [MIR] libphonenumber To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libphonenumber/+bug/1618178/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
