16.04 LTS, fairly new install. Can't achieve a full boot to login in
text mode or Unity with /etc/rc.local marked executable. I can ssh to
the affected machine when /etc/rc.local runs, however, and my
application started there, which uses internet connectivity is up and
working fine.
