@tiJoe You'll get that error if the kernel package came from kernel-ppa mainline (or was custom built, etc.), rather than an official ubuntu kernel package. I'm guessing yours came from http://kernel.ubuntu.com /~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.3.5-wily/, which would explain the message.
