I experience similar behavior on my UE Boom2 (Logitech) Wireless speaker (http://www.ultimateears.com/en-us/ueboom2/specs).
It pairs, makes a connection and drops it and thus no audio on the speaker. According to vendor specs it uses A2DP for audio playback.
