mysqld: Can't read dir of '/etc/mysql/conf.d/' (Errcode: 2 - No such file or
directory)
mysqld: [ERROR] Fatal error in defaults handling. Program aborted!
That dir is part of:
dpkg -S /etc/mysql/conf.d
mysql-common: /etc/mysql/conf.d
And the server depends on mysql-common, so it should be around on any
mysql install.
Did you modify that part of the mysql configuration?
