Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I see a number of vaguely similar Rhythmbox bus already on launchpad but
this seems to be a new one:
there's a problem with my (old, grayscale 40 Gb, non-click-wheel, non-
artwork) iPod (I think the Itunes db is broken/corrupted) and I thought
I'd try to restore it using Rhythmbox.
When I start rhythmbox with the ipod plugged in, I get:
$ rhythmbox
** (rhythmbox:1944): CRITICAL **: ipod_parse_artwork_db: assertion
`itdb' failed
(rhythmbox:1944): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_instance_get_private:
assertion `instance != NULL && instance->g_class != NULL' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
