Workarounds using a text boot works, but is quite ugly. If having multiple encrypted disks each needs to be separately unlocked (plymouth feeds the first password to the following ones). Also the password prompts either not visible or aligned to a very far right which makes it hard to notice when to strart typing your passwords.
