So with ubuntu 12.04:
ii  linux-image-3.10.103-0310103-generic   3.10.103-0310103.201608311738
               Linux kernel image for version 3.10.103 on 64 bit x86 SMP
=>suspend works

ii  linux-image-3.11.0-031100rc1-generic   3.11.0-031100rc1.201307141935
               Linux kernel image for version 3.11.0 on 64 bit x86 SMP
=>suspend don't work

Exactly the same symptoms as with other later kernels, with ubuntu 14.04
and 16.04.

** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
