This bug was fixed in the package stress-ng - 0.06.17-1ubuntu0
---------------
stress-ng (0.06.17-1ubuntu0) yakkety; urgency=medium
* stress-procfs/sysfs: abort on read errors (LP: #1629843)
- EINTR and EAGAIN errors were doing re-reads and this can get
stuck forever for example on some procfs files and when SIGALRM
occurred, so don't re-read, just abort the reads.
