If possible, please test again using the latest CD images (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/), running ubiquity with the --debug option (`ubiquity --debug` in a terminal). I believe the problem is fixed, but if you run into any issues, please report them here, attaching /var/log/installer/debug and /var/log/syslog.
