All joking aside, yahoo has been compromised for years, so it may not be a bad idea to move off the platform going forward to better preserve your security. Despite this, while you didn't get a great outcome in that there is no support, and one would have to wait until a developer works on it and simultaneously nag the vendor to do it, at least you got the scoop on your hardware.
