Public bug reported:

Hello,
I made update with update-manager -d, no problemo and when I reboot I have the
grub menu, and immediatly after selecting the new kernel (2.6.22.14), black
screen, no hard drive activity, nothing. With the kernel 2.6.20-16 it works.
With the graphical manager, i can select my screen (belinea 10 19 20 ver ...19)
1280*1024 and 76Hz) connected with dvi-d. It doesn't accept free radeon
driver, it has vesa drivers instead.
If you need another information, simply ask.
Thanks
