Public bug reported:
Approximately every 1-3 hrs my display will be disconnected for a few
seconds. The screen goes black as if I had disconnected the displayport
cable and then reconnects soon after. I'm using the Intel Skull Canyon
nuc with Iris Pro 580 graphics and an Asus MG279Q monitor. This only
happens on ubuntu 16.10. On 16.04 using the intel graphics update tool
everything works perfectly. This monitor uses displayport to run at
2560x1440 at 144hz and I've had problems driving it with other hardware
on linux. I lowered the refresh rate to 120hz and still experience the
same problem. I've already updated the bios to the latest version.
