Public bug reported:
This is the exact same bug described in Bug #407040 and Bug #404433, I
need to reopen this as it was never fixed. I look as though network card
is not able to reset and is causing random disconnects and causing the
wlan interface to become unavailable, to a point where I need to restart
my netbook to get access to the interface again. DMESG output:
[ 400.285672] ath: phy0: Chip reset failed
[ 400.285688] ath: phy0: Unable to reset channel, reset status -22
[ 400.285771] ath: phy0: Unable to set channel

[ 400.288009] ath: phy0: DMA failed to stop in 10 ms AR_CR=0xffffffff
AR_DIAG_SW=0xffffffff DMADBG_7=0xffffffff
I am running:
Linux albert-1001PXD 4.4.0-38-generic #57-Ubuntu SMP Tue Sep 6 15:41:41 UTC
2016 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux
The previous bug reports expired and I haven't found a fix online.
