To test: * start with an empty state * snap install ubuntu-core * snap install hello-world * hello-world reset state, repeat with core. If it fails at the "snap install core" step, your snapd is too old; check that and *start over* (i.e. make sure things still work with ubuntu-core and the updated snapd before moving to check core).
