Public bug reported:
Hi,
Ever since upgrading form 14.04 to 16.06 I do not seem to be able to
hand down hardware virtualization to clients. Feature svm is missing in
clients (for AMD cpu's). This is degraded from 14.04 to 16.04.
This is different from Intel cpu's, where I am able to hand down feature
vmx (just tested on 16.04).
On AMD I just re-tested by creating and installing a new client machine,
'Customize configuration before install' and 'Copy host CPU
configuration' under CPUs.
It is a great miss, I cannot create seperate labs anymore that run on
proper speeds for testing software.
Greetings,
Gerben
