Public bug reported:

Hi,

On the ubiquity screen requesting information for the end-user account,
a password is required to continue.

I think it might make sense for home installs to allow the account to be
passwordless. For example a computer sitting at home and only used by
family members might not need any gdm password at all. Perhaps some
components would need to be checked in such a situation (how does gnome-
screensaver react, what happens if one wants to share file with a
password etc.).

This option could be a checkbox as to prevent clicking on the "Next"
button unless a password is entered or this checkbox is selected.

Bye,
