Hello,

Using the computer in the dhcp net, and using Xubuntu , October 11th
release, and Xubuntu 7.04, I get the output that I include in that file,
using the commands you told me. (I have took care of using the same DNS
and saying to Xubuntu 7.10 not to use the roaming mode, so the problem
shouldn't be in my config).

And I have noticed, that the command ifconfig, doesn't include the line
that says which one is my "inet addr" (the inet6 appears in both
outputs, but the other address does not). So maybe this whole thing has
something to do with Xubuntu 7.10 not being able to get the ip from the
router, or that's what I think.

If you want me to do something else, please try to post something in the
next 20 hours, because tomorrow by now I think that I won't have access
to this computer.

Bye,

tsunamo
