Upon upgrade to Yakety I encountered this error.
I wonder if it's similar to LP #1174134 "package gnome-robots (not
installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-removal
script returned error exit status 1" which is from a few years ago and
marked fixed release.
