Laptop: Dell Inspiron 6400 with Intel video card.
- Tried installing Gutsy (kubuntu beta dvd) with encrypted root filesystem with
LVM (like Debian 4.0)
+ Tried installing Gutsy (kubuntu beta dvd) with encrypted root filesystem with
LVM (like Debian 4.0) in TEXT mode. Used both beta DVD/alternate CD.
1) At some point of retreiving/configuring packages font on screen turned
into color squres
2) Setup did not finish
3) cruptsetup from live system wasn't able to open encrypted FS (cryptsetup
form Debian 4.0 installer opened this FS)
