The dapper network-admin lists your device correctly, right? It would be useful to run those commands from a edgy system having the issue. The bug is low priority because you are the first one to complain about that issue for the moment. Maybe you could try from the knot3 desktop CD (no need to install) and notice if you still have the issue with it?
