The same problem on a Dell Latitude E5570: - keyboard goes on full full-brightness at boot time - keyboard turns on after screen lock exactly when the screen goes off (even if the keyboard backlight is off) - the auto turn-off after the specified amount of time (set in the BIOS and visible in the /sys/class/leds/...) is completely dismissed - the keys stay on all the time
