Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
The install logs seem to indicate that you already have an apache2.conf file on the filesystem. As such the above question asking you which configuration file to keep should have been asked of you. However, because you were using tasksel I am not entirely sure how that is completed. If you were to remove apache first and then try again this should complete, or check to be sure that the above prompt shows up and respond to it. In either case, I am marking this bug as Incomplete as it is not clear that this is a bug in Ubuntu versus a local configuration issue. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. If indeed this is a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community ** Changed in: mysql-5.7 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1634219 Title: package mysql-server-5.7 5.7.15-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script was killed by signal (Broken pipe) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1634219/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
