Note, in the kern.log above which shows the last hour of usage, there is a Call Trace for NetworkManager from the previous time I booted up after I was no longer able to reconnect. It's probably worth looking at this crash, however, in the most recent reboot, a restart of NetworkManager did bring back the wifi network after a resume.
