After some digging, i've found that installing libreoffice-core (in case of non wanting to install the metapackage 'libreoffice') does not 'recommend' to install "libreoffice-gnome | libreoffice-kde" as it needs.
Please add "libreoffice-gnome | libreoffice-kde" as a libreoffice-core recommended dependency. Actually i've upgaded to 5.2.3 rc1 & installed libreoffice-gnome , and the previous are gone ** Summary changed: - soffice.bin: Unknown event notification ; Syscall points to uninitialised byte(s) + soffice.bin: Unknown event notification ; Syscall points to uninitialised byte(s) Libreoffice-core should 'recommend' "libreoffice-gnome | libreoffice-kde" installation -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1617301 Title: soffice.bin: Unknown event notification ; Syscall points to uninitialised byte(s) Libreoffice-core should 'recommend' "libreoffice-gnome | libreoffice-kde" installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1617301/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
