Public bug reported:
Using XFig from Xubuntu 16.04LTS (XFig 3.2.5c) and from Sourceforge
(XFig 3.2.6; this one has fixed the arc-editing crashes). The
Sourceforge-based one is installed at /usr/local and it has the
"/usr/local/share/X11/app-defaults/Fig" file there, yet it uses the
system-wide "/etc/X11/app-defaults/Fig" file and complains about the
older version of that app-defaults file.
PS I understand that this is XFig-only issue (not directly involving
Ubuntu); I just hope that XFig developers read these tickets.
