Another confirmation: Y Y 16.10 finally works on Toshiba Chromebook 2 (2015). Bugs were partially overridden using external DVD drive through USB 2.0 instead of flash or SD card drive. "help" after boot was helpful too. It took couple days to figure to use DVD drive ;)
