Public bug reported:
When you start an install, a progress bar appears in the preview and the
install progress is displayed to the user.
If you then exit the preview and return to it again, the progress bar is
no longer there, yet the installation is still continuing in the
background (can confirm this by running "snap changes" from the
terminal)
