Public bug reported:

About 2 days after a reboot of my 14.04 system, the timidity daemon
suddenly started using 100% of the cpu. That happened early in the
morning when I was asleep, but I tracked it down using collectl data. I
saw nothing unusual in the syslog at that time.

This has happened to me twice, and to other users, as documented at

  http://askubuntu.com/questions/828299/timidity-hogging-cpu-
ubuntu-16-04/844221

I'm using Ubuntu Trusty 14.04 with kde.

Description: Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS
Release: 14.04

timidity:
  Installed: 2.13.2-40.2
