We need more info in order to advance this bug.
First, what is the "IR Tray"?. This is certainly not part of the lirc
package.
Secondly, testing with mode2(1) will reveal if this is about the kernel
not delivering timing ingo, or about a lircd failure.
Third, if the problem persists it needs to be checked against the latest
lirc 0.9.4c and also an updated kernel.
If you are still interested in this bug, could you please do this
testing?
