For confirmation, 2.6.20-16-generic: For me the ps/2 keyboard used to work, now not anymore after login into KDE (Kubuntu). It works in tty1-6 and the loginscreen.
Strange thing is that during the day it worked, no updates done whatsoever, before it stopped working. Have to ask if it stopped in the middle of a session or after a reboot. Installing latest updates didn't solve the problem, pretty vanilla kunbuntu with citrix, firefox and some games.
